Patent number: 11072096Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are disclosed to mold complex shapes using a cast mold technique. A catalyst-initiated urethane can be used for these complex shapes as there is little thickness restriction on any part dimension. Moreover, urethane, once chemically activated, can be poured into cast molds with various shapes. Due to the exothermic nature of urethane, when the curing chemical reaction takes place, metal molds can be fabricated from aluminum. Cast molds, made from aluminum, utilize elastomeric seals to account for coefficients of thermal expansion.Type: GrantFiled: February 21, 2020Date of Patent: July 27, 2021Assignee: Trusty-Cook, Inc.Inventor: Jerry Curtis Trusty

Patent number: 7738127Abstract: Techniques for issuing proximity warnings for services are provided. A first location associated with a requestor that makes a request to a remote service is determined. A second location associated with the remote service is resolved. The first and second locations are compared. In response to the compare, a decision is made as to whether a warning message is issued to the requestor or as to whether the request is passed through to the remote service for processing.Type: GrantFiled: May 26, 2005Date of Patent: June 15, 2010Assignee: Novell, Inc.Inventors: Jerry Curtis Winkel, Kenneth Allen Frost

Patent number: 7529940Abstract: Methods, systems, and data structures are provided for selectively securing data within a message. A single message includes data. The data can be text data, attachment data, audio data, image data, or video data. Portions of the data are selectively identified with intended recipients. Multiple versions of the message are produced using the selective portions of the data. Each appropriate version of the message is delivered to the intended recipients. In one embodiment, the selective portions of the data are presented as links in the versions of the message, such that when an intended recipient accesses the link, the accessing recipient is first authenticated before being granted access to the selective portions of the data.Type: GrantFiled: November 22, 2002Date of Patent: May 5, 2009Assignee: Novell, Inc.Inventors: Jerry Curtis Winkel, Eugene Kenneth Davis

Publication number: 20050190073Abstract: A method for providing control commands to electronic equipment from a remote location comprises receiving a control command signal transmitted from a remote location The control command signal has a first carrier wave that includes a noise component. The method further comprises removing the first carrier wave from the control command signal, such that the noise component is also removed, thereby producing a TTL signal. The method further comprises generating a second carrier wave having a frequency substantially equal to the first carrier wave. The method further comprises applying the second carrier wave to the TTL signal to produce an output command signal.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 16, 2005Publication date: September 1, 2005Inventors: Jon Berges, Jerry Curtis

Patent number: 6389139Abstract: A powered volume control is provided for a distributed audio system having a plurality of remote speakers. An amplifier or signal conditioner is provided having a dual channel amplified signal from a high impedance source. The amplified or conditioned signal is provided to a plurality of remotely located powered volume controls having high input impedance and further having internal amplifiers which provide a dual or mono-channel amplified signal having an amplitude or magnitude determined by a user variable adjustment device. The amplified signal is then provided to one or more remote speakers. Each volume control is designed for in-wall installation in a single-gang wall box and may be covered by an ornamental face plate. The system is also designed to utilize existing four conductor speaker wire for installation or retrofitting existing distributed audio systems.Type: GrantFiled: November 18, 1997Date of Patent: May 14, 2002Assignee: Dana InnovationsInventors: Jerry A. Patent number: 5299766Abstract: A retrofit bracket for wall mount speakers has a support surface configured for mounting at least one speaker thereto and a pair of elongate clamping bars extending across to opposite sides of the rear of the support surface and adjustably attach thereto such that a wall covering is clampably capturable intermediate the support surface and the bars. An adjustment means facilitates varying of the distance between the support surface and the bars to accommodate various wall covering thicknesses. The elongate bars are sufficiently flexible to provide spring tension against the wall covering captured intermediate the bars and the support surface. A foot is formed upon each end of the elongate bars for distributing the force applied by the bars over an increased surface area. The use of feet to spread the force of the bars over an increased surface area mitigates the potential for compression of the wall covering captured therebeneath.Type: GrantFiled: November 5, 1993Date of Patent: April 5, 1994Assignee: Dana InnovationsInventors: Jerry Curtis, William J. Kindel, Geoffrey L. Spencer, Scott Struthers, F. Hendrik Huebscher, Walter Malzahn, Ronald Maurer
