  • Patent number: 4341288
Abstract: An elevator system having a security terminal which enables predetermined floors in response to predetermined security inputs. The security terminal, in response to an authorized input, issues a floor enabling signal to a selected elevator car. Timely registration of a car call in the selected car for the enabled floor latches the enablement for the duration of the run.

  • Patent number: 4131182
Abstract: A speed pattern generator for use with manually operated construction elevator car controls. Leveling and running patterns, as well as linear acceleration and deceleration patterns are provided by a pair of operational amplifiers connected to provide integrating and amplifying functions.

  • Patent number: 4022296
Abstract: Signal input devices and systems which include a switch, a continuously energized light source, and an electro-optic light value disposed between the back of the switchand the light source. The electro-optic light valve is operable between light transmitting and light blocking conditions, with the electro-optic light valve being switched from one of its conditions to the other in response to actuation of the switch. The switch includes a printed circuit board having an opening therein, with certain of the electrically conductive elements of the switch being disposed on the printed circuit board. The opening in the printed circuit board enables light from the light source to be visible from the front side of the switch, such as through a light transmissive actuating button, when the electro-optic light valve is in its light transmitting condition. A plurality of signal input devices may be grouped, with a common light source.
