    Abstract: This invention relates to a method of producing improved pelleted animal feeds. Under the process of this invention, an animal feed composition containing an effective amount of a water soluble form of calcium is compressed into pellets. The water soluble form of calcium present in the composition serves as both the source of mineral nutrition and as a pellet binding agent. The pelleted animal feeds produced by the process of this invention exhibit superior durability and produce less fines.
