    Abstract: A gambrel apparatus is provided for the support of animals and the like. The gambrel apparatus includes a spreader bar adapted to permit convenient and rapid adjustment of its length. End pieces of the spreader bar include special entailing hooks for mounting the animal thereon. Each hook is also connected to a common central connector which, in turn, is connected to a hoist unit. The hoist unit permits a single individual to raise and lower the animal with respect to the ground or other supporting area.

    Abstract: A fishing boat has a flat inner floor with a front operating station having a seat moveable between a lower run position and a raised fishing position. A base frame includes abutting box-like members having a common wall. The frame is secured to the floor with a base plate secured to the first forward box-like portion. The rearward frame box-like portion defines a recess to receive a cooler having a raised and flat top wall. A non-load bearing hinge unit in the form of arms or a single plate has a length greater than the vertical distance between the base plate and the top wall of the cooler. The hinge unit is secured to the rear edge of the base plate for folding onto the base plate, with the seat abutting the base plate and without any load on the hinge unit. The seat plate is secured to the outer end of the hinge unit and folds onto the base plate in the folded position.

    Abstract: A game hunter's knife has a folding blade unit movable to an enviscerating cut or alternatively a skinning position. The knife includes an elongated blade pivoted in one end of a handle having a through slot for moving the blade to the opposite sides. An enviscerating guard is pivoted to one side of the handle and is pivoted 90.degree. with the blade abutting the guard to form a hook for convenient cutting of the animal hide by a pulling action. The guard separates the entrails and meat from the skin during cutting. The blade is pivoted to the opposite side of the handle for skinned with the guard abutting the handle. The guard includes a small opposite projection extending the pivot to form a stop for the blade extending longitudinally outwardly of the handle in position for skinning.

    Abstract: A compact packsaw is conveniently housed in a casing. The saw includes a flat tapered blade having different teeth on opposite edges with a multiple part collapsible handle, including opposed U-shaped channels, each havng a short mounting leg and a longer handle leg. The channel legs are recessed or slotted. The short legs are pivoted to the wide end of the blade with the bases abutting to define a T-shaped handle. The abutting channel members pivot away from each other, around the end of the blade and to the opposite edges. The recessed handle legs telescope over the blade.
