Abstract: A counting system has a dispensing assembly, a singulator assembly, a counting assembly, and a control system. The dispensing assembly distributes particles to the singulator assembly which separates the particles into a singulator path and delivers the singulated particles to the counting assembly where the particles are counted and the count displayed on an input and display device.

Abstract: A small seed counting system includes a hopper mounted to a frame and having an open top and a discharge opening. Also connected to the frame is a vertical rail. Mounted to the vertical rail are a first and a second gate assemblies. Each gate assembly has a horizontal support member with an aperture. The gate assemblies also each have a measuring tube that are slidably and telescopically connected to form a measuring chamber.

Disposed within the frame is a mixing chamber that receives seed from the input and is in fluid communication with a pump. In this manner the pump is able to convey chemical treatments to the interior of the mixing chamber such that a blade assembly within the mixing chamber can mix the chemical treatment fluid with seeds therein in order to treat the seeds with the chemical treatment.

Abstract: A seed counter of the present invention is used to accurately count seeds at a high speed. The invention includes a line vac connected to a linear array laser. The line vac is connected to a supply of seeds which are drawn through the line vac by a source of pressurized air and past the photoelectric sensor. The photoelectric sensor is connected to a control circuit which counts the seeds as they pass the photoelectric sensor. The control circuit also controls the flow rate of the counter by means of a variable pressure regulator connected to the line vac. As a result, the flow rate of the counter can be precisely controlled and a precise number of seeds can be counted and conveyed by the invention.
