  • Patent number: 9351314
Abstract: Embodiments for providing for dissemination of packets in a network performing distributed beamforming are generally described herein. In some embodiments, distributing packets from nodes in a squad local area network using a first waveform to beamforming nodes, providing scheduling to a long link interface for delivering a stream of packets free of scheduling conflict and distributing a copy of the packets from a long link interface based on the provided scheduling and using a second waveform, the first waveform being different from the second waveform.

  • Patent number: 7945042
Abstract: A method and apparatus for switching active calls from one entity to another on a network device. The method includes the steps of collecting the call information, designating a second, or target, entity to receive the call, and switching the call. If compression is being used in the call, the method will include the steps of copying the compression dictionary tables and loading the tables in the second entity. The apparatus includes a controller and at least two entities. A connector connects the entity with incoming or outgoing phone calls. The controller switches the active call from a first entity to a second entity.

  • Patent number: 6898186
Abstract: A lab network access server is disclosed in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention. The lab network access server is coupled to a customer network server through a packet switching network. The customer modem device includes a customer modem device and is coupled to an end-user modem device employed by an end-user. In a diagnostic scenario, the end-user initiates a call through the customer network access server modem device, which is setup for pass through operations. The customer network access server, upon receiving the call information, routes the call information to the lab network access server for termination thereof. The lab network access server operates to diagnose problems associated with the customer modem device and includes a lab modem device.
