    Abstract: Disclosed is an eye simulator device, wherein same is a medical training aid and includes: an eyepiece having a display configured to project at least one image onto or through a convex shaped front surface of a simulated eyeball of the eyepiece; a support configured to hold the eyepiece; a simulated eyelid pivotally attached to the support; and an actuator assembly having an actuator arm and an electromagnetic (EM) coil in connection with the actuator arm, so as to control a motion of the simulated eyelid, which allows to more realistically mimic the eye, and to more intuitively mimic a motion change of the eye, and it is illustratable to show a change process of the eye by projecting an eye condition, making it easier for a student to understand.

    Abstract: A hinge and roller assembly for use in a roll-up door including a pair of leaves each forming a portion of a bearing socket, a bushing mounted in the bearing socket, a shaft slidably mounted in the bushing. The shaft mounts a roller on one end and the roller is adapted to roll in a track. A spring is mounted between the shaft and the bushing to bias the shaft axially toward the track. A releasable retainer on the bushing removably retains the bushing in the socket. Preferably, each of the leaves includes a plate through which the hinge is mounted to the door and an integral strap which is bent into a circular shape to define a portion of the socket and is attached at a distal end to the plate.

    Abstract: When a floating battery feed circuit is used to power telephone lines, it is desirable to provide an anti-corrosion biasing circuit to keep the voltage on the tip and ring conductors from becoming positive. This can be done using an anit-corrosion circuit that sinks a dynamic amount of current from the tip conductor. A line circuit including such biasing is, however, incompatible with special lines such as PBX lines that rely on a grounded tip conductor in the talk state. In accordance with the present invention, a constant current is supplied from a ground reference circuit to the ring conductor of such special lines only when loop current is flowing. The magnitude of this supplied current is such that the anti-corrosion circuit holds the tip conductor sufficiently close to ground potential to allow the proper operation of circuits connected to the special lines.
