  • Patent number: 10209828
Abstract: A system and method for multi-touch integrity sensing for a multi-touch capacitive touch screen determines a distinction between wanted touches, such as via a finger or stylus, and unwanted touches such as via foreign matter, errors, and the like. Mutual capacitance and self-capacitance sensing data is collected and processed to identify reference strengths and detection thresholds. If differences between mutual/self-capacitance strength and the corresponding reference strengths exceed the corresponding detection thresholds, then the touch is classified as an unwanted (for example, water) touch.

  • Publication number: 20180020749
Abstract: A garment includes a connected front and back panels forming a cavity for an upper body of a subject. Each of a pair of sleeves is connected to at least one of the front or back panel and is in communication with the cavity. A collar is configured to surround a neck of the subject. Each of a pair of shoulder straps is connected at one end to the collar and at an opposing end to at least one of the front or back panels or a sleeve. A first opening is formed by at least the straps, a top edge of the front panel, and the collar to expose a top portion of the subject's chest. A second opening is formed by at least the straps, a top edge of the back panel, and the collar to expose a top portion of the subject's back.

  • Patent number: 9817530
Abstract: An electronic device may include a touchscreen having sensing capacitors, and readout circuitry. The readout circuitry may be configured to accumulate a sample set from each sensing capacitor, divide the sample set into sample subsets, remove a given sample subset when the given sample subset exceeds a threshold, and process remaining sample subsets for touch input.

  • Publication number: 20170249030
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a capacitive sensing structure for detecting a force touch in a touchscreen application. Performance uniformity of the force touch sensor is improved by providing a capacitive force touch structure having sensing electrodes of varying thickness, wherein the variation in electrode thickness corresponds to a relative displacement potential of portions of the sensing electrode. This variation in thickness improves performance uniformity of the force sensor by compensating for the displacement potential (i.e., flexibility) of the sensing electrodes so that a force touch applied to the touch surface is measured consistently regardless of the location of the force touch on the touch surface.

  • Publication number: 20110033637
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention generally include a method and apparatus for performing printing onto a product. Specifically, embodiments of the invention comprise a printing apparatus and a method for printing on a product surface. Further, the printing apparatus comprises a laser etch system, and a printer. A masking film is applied to the product to be printed upon. The laser etch system creates an etch pattern through the masking film and into the product being printed upon. An ink pattern is applied to the etch pattern. The masking film is then removed to revealed the print pattern on the product.
