Abstract: Articles of clothing with beads are described. According to one aspect, an article of clothing to be worn by an individual includes a clothing layer configured to cover at least a portion of the body of the individual when the article of clothing is worn by the individual and a plurality of beads attached to the clothing layer, wherein the beads are provided between an outermost surface of the clothing layer and skin of the individual when the article of clothing is worn by the individual.

Abstract: Fractured bone treatment methods and fractured bone treatment assemblies are described. According to one aspect, a fractured bone treatment method includes generating an attractive magnetic force proximate to a fracture in a fractured bone and maintaining pieces of the fractured bone in proper anatomical positions with respect to one another using the attractive magnetic force.

Softer yarns and fabrics are obtained than with conventional textured yarns while also providing improved adhesion and dyeability.

Abstract: Polyester polyols are provided by reaction of FDCA with polyepoxides. The polyester polyols can be used as is or further reacted to produce thermoset polymers useful for coatings particularly for those providing corrosion resistance and flame resistance.

Abstract: A harmonics attenuator employing a combination controller that incorporates features of a classic controller and a state space controller to function as a hybrid controller unit. The PID portion of the classic controller regulates the steady state error and is separated from the pulse width modulated constant frequency signal generator that also comprises part of the classic controller. The PID portion is coupled with a state space controller such that the output of the PID controller, i.e., the steady state error correction, is input to the state space controller. The state space controller further receives as input variables a reference sinusoidal signal, the load current, the current across a pre-load filter capacitor, and the output voltage. From these inputs, the state space controller generates a transient error correction that is fed to a PWM signal generator for generating a sinusoidal output voltage signal with both steady state and transient error correction.

Abstract: An automobile body repair machine incorporating a quill and shaft load shouldering assembly whose quill includes lateral, medial, and oppositely lateral sections; slide stopping set screws extending through the quill sections for impingement upon the quill and shaft combination's shaft; weld seam grasping left and right anchor clamps fixedly attached to the lateral and oppositely lateral quill sections; a pull force transferring cantilevered stem; a selectively lockable and unlockable pivot joint interconnecting the stem and the medial quill section; a pivoting cantilevered foot attached to a distal end of the stem; and a foot extending hydraulic cylinder triangulating between the stem and the foot; the automobile body repairing machine further incorporating a body damage pulling tie attached to a distal end of the cantilevered foot.

Abstract: A fragrance fixative and method of fixation of a fragrance along with a novel fragrance composition constitute the subject matter of the present invention. Phenylxylylethane and phenyltolylethane are known compounds which surprisingly exhibit superior qualities as a fragrance fixative. In addition to being desirable as a fragrance fixative, the compositions according to the invention exhibit desirable olfactory properties in and of themselves and can be useful in providing finishing touches to the bouquet or dominant note of the fragrance. The quantity of fixture utilized in carrying out the method and composition of the invention can vary over a wide range from 1-70% by weight. The fixative compositions can be combined with any known desirable fragrance composition.
