  • Publication number: 20090296386
Abstract: An LED illuminator has a seat and multiple LED modules mounted on the seat. The seat has multiple chambers, each of which has two opposite sidewalls, a bottom, two through holes and an opening. The two through holes are respectively defined on the sidewalls and the opening is defined the bottom. The LED modules are respectively mounted on the sidewalls of the chambers on the seat and standing on the seat at an inclined angle to allow lights pass through the openings of the chambers. Therefore, each chamber has two light sources from two opposite sidewalls and the lights of the two lights source pass through the opening of the chamber. The LED illuminator provides a wide illuminating angle.

  • Publication number: 20090007143
Abstract: A system that enables notification of a critical quota status related to a mail (or Exchange) server is provided. The system can employ parameters directly from a mail server or, alternatively, from a stats store located within a client device to trigger generation and delivery of a quota full (or exceeded) state. This alert can be locally generated within the client device to convey the critical quota status. In operation, the alert protocol can employ most any protocol including but, not limited to, an email, calendar entry, task, instant message (IM), or the like. In the case of an email alert, the system can timestamp the alert thereby making it always appear on the top of the inbox thus, conspicuous to a user.

  • Patent number: 7437573
Abstract: Unsent messages are securely stored in a client by determining whether a connection to a server exists. If the connection exists, the message can be sent using the intended recipient's public key. In response to a determination that a connection from the client to a server does not exist, information from the client can be used to encrypt a modulated data signal that is to be sent from the client to the server. The encrypted modulated data signal is stored on the client. When a determination is made that a connection from the client to the server exists, information from the client is used to decrypt the encrypted modulated data signal.

  • Publication number: 20050100527
Abstract: Lipids and compositions of lipids that can be used as lipid aggregates (i.e., liposomes) for the delivery of macromolecules and other compounds into cells are provided. The lipids have a general structure represented by the formula: The lipids can be used to form lipid aggregates (i.e., liposomes). These lipid aggregates can serve as transfection reagents for the delivery of various compounds into cells. Suitable compounds that can be delivered into cells include nucleic acids (e.g. DNA, RNA), oligonucleotides, proteins, peptides, and small molecular drugs.

  • Publication number: 20030100426
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for producing semi-transparent lampshades from the unsaturated resin. A mold of the lampshade to be completed is produced first, then a first layer of the unsaturated resin to the inner side of the mold is painted. Thereafter, a layer of glass fiber to the first layer of the unsaturated resin is stuck. Again, a second layer of the unsaturated resin to the glass fiber layer is painted. Finally, the lampshade from the mold after the material is solidified is removed.

  • Publication number: 20020182860
Abstract: A method of forming self-aligned silicide layers on semiconductor devices. The method includes a metal sputtering step which sputters a metal material onto a semiconductor device in an environment with a temperature of at least 400° C., an etching step which selectively removes unreacted metal and reacted metal remainder, and a high temperature annealing step which forms a self-aligned silicide layer by rapidly raising the temperature and annealing. Using this method, an inter-mediate can be formed during the metal sputtering process. Therefore, the invention takes out one rapid thermal annealing process in the self-aligned silicide process, reducing the cycle time and cost, and increasing the yield.

  • Patent number: 6415503
Abstract: The present invention provides an assembling system of rubber cones of computer keyboards and an assembling method for the same. The assembling system of rubber cones of computer keyboards of the present invention comprises an assembly housing, a moldboard stage, a rocking apparatus, and a rotating apparatus. The assembly housing has an operational space. The moldboard stage has a plurality of moldboards, and is arranged above the operational space of the assembly housing. Each moldboard corresponds to a keyboard to be assembled, and has a plurality of recesses corresponding to key switches of the keyboard on the surface thereof. The rocking apparatus and the rotating apparatus join with the moldboard stage at two sides thereof to provide required rocking and rotating forces for the moldboard. Thereby, the present invention can partly automate the originally wholly-artificial assembling method, increase the assembly efficiency, and reduce the cost of manpower.

  • Patent number: 6384664
Abstract: A differential voltage sense circuit has a fuse placed in one upper leg of a resistance bridge while the remaining upper leg (sense leg) employs a resistor constructed of doped poly or poly silicide or constructed of the doped silicon that forms the N-well or P-well in CMOS process. The lower legs each have a switch selected from a pair of matched switches. A comparator, latch and combinational logic sense the state of the fuse in the resistance bridge and latch the state information before the switches can operate to stop the flow of current in the resistance bridge. The differential voltage sense circuit can operate at low voltage levels compatible with advanced CMOS processes.

  • Patent number: 4709937
Abstract: A two-wheeled combination roller skate-ski includes a base with safety straps and front brake, two wheels, a transverse frame and a longitudinal frame. A player may select to use either the transverse frame or longitudinal frame to mount the wheels outwardly of two opposing sides of the base in a position such that intersections of a plane in which the base lies and circles defined by the wheels are chords of the circles. Hubs of the wheels are located above the base of the skate-ski, imparting additional stability to the skate-ski and helping the player to maintain his balance.
