  • Publication number: 20210182155
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method, electronic device and computer program product for managing a backup system. The method comprises: determining, based on historical backup information of the backup system in a first time period, at least one temporal feature corresponding to the first time period, the historical backup information indicating a set of numbers of backup jobs executed by the backup system in the first time period; determining, based on the at least one temporal feature, a set of predicted numbers of backup jobs expected to be executed by the backup system in a second time period; and determining a health status of the backup system based on the set of predicted numbers and a set of actual numbers of backup jobs executed actually by the backup system in the second time period. In this way, the health status of the backup system can be determined in time.

  • Patent number: 11030436
Abstract: A method of recognizing an object includes comparing a three-dimensional point cloud of the object to a three-dimensional candidate from a dataset to determine a first confidence score, and comparing color metrics of a two-dimensional image of the object to a two-dimensional candidate from the dataset to determine a second confidence score. The point cloud includes a color appearance calibrated from a white balance image, and the color appearance of the object is compared with the three-dimensional candidate. The first or second confidence score is selected to determine which of the three-dimensional candidate or the two-dimensional candidate corresponds with the object.

  • Patent number: 10990267
Abstract: In a first step of a two step content selection operation, initial content can be selected by detecting movement of a content selection object with respect to a computing device. The selection area can be calculated based on the object movement that is detected. The content within the selection area can be selected and displayed in a second display area overlaying the original content. The initial content can be copied into the second display area. All or part of the initial content can be enlarged, enabling the second step of the selection operation in which a subset of the initial content is selected.

  • Publication number: 20210104071
Abstract: A deep learning method employs a neural network having three sub-nets to classify and retrieve the most similar 3D model of an object, given a rough 3D model or scanned images. The most similar 3D model is present in a database and can be retrieved to use directly or as a reference to redesign the 3D model. The three sub-nets of the neural network include one dealing with object images and the other two dealing with voxel representations. Majority vote is used instead of view pooling to classify the object. A feature map and a list of top N most similar well-designed 3D models are also provided.

  • Patent number: 10563503
Abstract: A range of apparatus and methods for providing local and long range data telemetry within a wellbore is described. These apparatus and methods may be combined in a wide variety of ways. In some embodiments data is transmitted across a gap in a drill string using signals of a higher frequency for which an electrical impedance of the gap or of a filter connected across the gap is low. Low-frequency EM telemetry signals may be applied across the gap. The gap and any filter connected across the gap present a high impedance to the low-frequency EM telemetry signals. The described technology may be applied for transferring sensor readings between downhole electrical packages. In some embodiments sensors are electrically connected across electrically insulating gaps in the drill string.
