    Abstract: An injection device includes a housing, a plunger, a drive gear and a release trigger. The plunger includes a leadscrew and a cap attached thereto where, in use, the cap engages a bung of a cartridge containing medicament. The drive gear within the housing engages with the leadscrew such that rotation of the drive gear around the leadscrew drives the plunger axially through the housing towards the bung. The trigger includes a locking ring having generally axially extending teeth for engaging with corresponding teeth on the drive gear. The trigger is generally axially movable between an engaged position where the teeth are engaged and prevent rotation of the drive gear, and a disengaged position where the teeth are disengaged and enable rotation of the drive gear. Movement of the trigger between the disengaged and engaged position causes counter-rotation of the drive gear and retracts the plunger away from the bung.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to systems and apparatus for dark-fire curing of tobacco. Specially, the present invention provides a central control system for controlling and adjusting conditions within a structure utilized for curing dark-fired tobacco, for example by remotely turning the ventilation fan on or off. Additionally, the invention provides for an external smoking structure incorporated into the control system. This allows for simultaneous control of external smoking, that is smoking that is physically separated from curing, and the transportation of smoke into the into the dark-fire curing structure, in addition to the control of the curing structure itself.

    Abstract: An injection device includes a housing, a receptacle for receiving a medicine cartridge and configured for attachment to a proximal end of the housing, and a leadscrew having an end for engaging with a bung of a cartridge. The leadscrew has a first thread extending axially along an outer surface thereof and at least one axially extending guide track. The injection device includes a rotatable drive mechanism for engaging with the first thread or guide track, and a guiding element for engaging with the other of the first thread or guide track, the guiding element being non-rotatable with respect to the housing during an injection operation, whereby rotation of the drive mechanism causes the leadscrew to move axially in a proximal direction in order to deliver a dose from the cartridge. The injection device further includes a stop member located proximal to the rotatable drive mechanism and the guiding element.
