    Abstract: A vehicle for transport of an assistive transport device comprising a chassis with a plurality of wheels mounted to the chassis without transverse axles and a support platform operatively engaging with the chassis and being capable of raising and lowering. A lift assembly raises and lowers the platform. A hydrostatic drive assembly operatively connects to the plurality of wheels for driving the wheels. At least one controller operatively connects to the drive assembly and lift assembly for controlling movement of the transport vehicle.
