    Abstract: A fishing pole holder is provided and consists of a bracket attached to an elongated post having a pointed end adapted to be inserted into the ground near a body of water so that a portion of a fishing pole can be inserted and supported between the bracket and the post. A built-in flashlight is carried by the post for illuminating for night fishing. A mechanism carried on the post can visually indicate a hooked fish by flashing the flashlight when the fish pulls the fishing pole.
