Abstract: A computing device includes at least one processor and a machine-readable storage medium storing instructions. The instructions may be executable by the hardware processor to detect an action to share a first file of the plurality of unclassified files with a second user, where the plurality of unclassified files are owned by a first user. The instructions are also executable to, in response to a detection of the action: identify a set of classification rules associated with the second entity; classify the first file using the set of classification rule to obtain a classified file and classification metadata; and store the classification metadata.
