  • Publication number: 20040132078
Abstract: Antisense compounds, compositions, and methods are provided for modulating the expression of a family of polypeptides from mitochondrial membranes, which bind insulin sensitizing, antidiabetic thiazolodinediones (mitoNEET). The compositions comprise antisense compounds, particularly antisense oligonucleotides, targeted to nucleic acids encoding mitoNEET. Methods of using these compounds for modulation of mitoNEET expression and for treatment of diseases associated with expression of mitoNEET are provided.
