Abstract: An insulated structural truss panel, comprising: a rectangular panel body formed of a rigid foam material and having a defined width between first and second sides, first and second ends separated by a defined length, and first and second substantially parallel faces; and a parallel arrangement of at least first and second trusses, each truss having upper and lower chords, a truss web disposed between each upper and lower chord and a length substantially equal to the defined length of the panel body, in which the trusses are embedded longitudinally within the panel body at predetermined on-center spacings between and parallel to the first and second sides.

Abstract: An insulated structural building panel and header system, comprising a rectangular panel body molded of a rigid foam material and a plurality of elongated, channel-shaped framing members oriented parallel to each other and embedded during molding in each first and second face of the panel body. Each framing member is retained in place in the panel body by return lips formed into first and second edges of an open side of the framing members without the use of adhesive or mechanical fasteners. The panels may include utility recesses formed in one face of the panel and mortised edges for keying the panels securely together. The panels may be formed with alternate framing member spacings. Auxiliary framing members are disclosed having T and L shaped cross sections for joining panels together or reinforcing the panels to support greater loads.

Abstract: There is disclosed a powered reciprocating table saw, for sawing large foam panels having embedded steel framing members, comprising a work table for supporting a workpiece on a top side of the work table and having a blade opening disposed through the work table proximate a central portion thereof. A saw motor is supported underneath the work table, the saw motor having a reciprocating output shaft extending from a housing of the motor, and blade clamping means disposed on the output shaft. An elongated saw blade is retained in the blade clamping means of the saw motor and positioned to move reciprocatingly through the blade opening to the top side of the work table for sawing the workpiece. In another aspect a motor mount is disclosed for attaching the saw motor to the work table. In yet another aspect a blade guide supported by the work table is disclosed, which limits sideways and rearward displacement of the saw blade while sawing the workpiece.
