  • Publication number: 20070065338
Abstract: A testing strip includes an elongated strip carrier and a reagent on the carrier. The reagent reacts with one of Rohypnol, Ketamine, GHB, GBL, and 1,4-butanediol to change color indicating the presence of Rohypnol, Ketamine, GHB, GBL, and 1,4-butanediol. A dispenser for dispensing testing strips is also disclosed. The dispenser includes a container and at least one testing strip including an elongated strip carrier and a reagent on the carrier that reacts with one of Rohypnol, Ketamine, GHB, GBL, and 1,4-butanediol to change color indicating the presence of Rohypnol, Ketamine, GHB, GBL, and 1,4-butanediol.

  • Patent number: 5792714
Abstract: Thermoregulatory apparel includes garments, for close-fitting skin-contacting wear having, in preferred embodiments, a base fabric of Coolmax.sup.cm high moisture evaporation fabric having one or more insulating panels of Thermax.sup.cm or Thermastat.sup.cm hollow core fiber fabric having moisture wicking capability and applied to the inner side of the garment for skin contact at selected areas of the body where muscle protection is desired. The insulating panels maintain body heat in the protected muscles while evaporative cooling is encouraged by wicking of perspiration away from the body for evaporation from the outer Coolmax.sup.cm fabric. Alternative fabric choices and various garment combinations may be utilized.

  • Patent number: 5343637
Abstract: A shoe having an outer sole, an upper attached to the outer sole for enclosing the wearer's foot, and an insole. A compressible and expansible elastic insert is accommodated in a cavity between the outer sole and the insole. The elastic insert has a flat body formed of spring material. Projecting out of the plane of the body is a spiraling, tapering leaf which elastically deflects in response to relative movements of the outer sole and the insole toward and away from one another.
