  • Patent number: 4311978
Abstract: A pulse transformer having primary and secondary windings on separate insulating bobbins which are carried on the arms of a pair of U-shaped ferrite cores which provide a continuous magnetic path for coupling relatively high energy pulses. The bobbin and core assembly is assembled in and held together by a close fitting molded plastic housing which carries four pins to which the primary and secondary windings are attached. The connecting pins extend from a side of the housing which is open to receive the bobbin/core assembly and are adapted for printed circuit board mounting in which the board covers the housing opening so that the transformer is completely protected.

  • Patent number: 4241298
Abstract: An improved compact electronic switch for controlling an electric motor comprising a housing into which a trigger actuator reciprocates for selecting motor speed and a reversing switch mounted on the housing and interlocked with the trigger actuator for selecting motor direction. Improvements include; an improved switch contact arrangement which reduces arcing on switching from full power to variable power motor control, an improved printed variable resistor for the electronic speed control circuitry, and an improved and simplified reversing switch unit.

  • Patent number: 3937453
Abstract: Banking machines for dispensing paper currency require a document transport for accurately and reliably delivering a single bill or piece of currency from a storage bin to a customer. The document transport includes a feeder unit for delivering single pieces of currency from a stack to a pair of separator rollers and past a double document detector. Upon detection of more than one document passing through the separator rollers, a clutch is energized to cause one of the rollers to rotate in a direction opposite the other to separate the several bills and allow only the top one to be forwarded into a flat belt transport. As a piece of paper currency passes through the flat belt transport, spaced detectors produce a signal that indicates an overlapping or trailing document condition. This overlapping or trailing condition is measured by the spacing of detectors in the flat belt transport.
