  • Patent number: 9220379
Abstract: A dispenser for wipes materials and for enabling convenient dispensing of wipes from a roll. At least one side port with a cap is provided to enable the removing of a wipe. An orifice within the port may frictionally engage the wipes. A curved barrier sheet of material between the wipes roll and the dispenser body aids in loading a replacement roll of wipes into the dispenser. The barrier sheet is has an opening for a wipe to pass. The dispenser is refillable through a removable end. Axial spindles suspend the roll for rotation within the dispenser. A spool for use with the dispenser has linearly disposed channels on an outer surface to reduce adhesion with some materials and to improve frictional engagement with others.

  • Patent number: 6230931
Abstract: A dispensing package for substantially flat items, such as razor blades, gum and mints. The dispensing package contains a hollow container having a slot on one side and a dispensing door on one end adjacent to the slot. An elevator is located within the track for supporting and lifting the confectionery items. An elevator button is located on one end of the elevator and protrudes through the slot to allow the user to manually raise the elevator and the items located thereon. On the inside of the package and adjacent to the slot is a ratcheting track which corresponds with ratcheting protrusions on the elevator button. The ratcheting track and ratcheting protrusions allow the elevator to move upward in a manner such that only one item at a time is dispensed. Upon the exertion of manual force to lift the elevator button in an upward direction, the elevator is raised via the ratcheting track and protrusions and the top item contacts and pushes open the dispensing door.

  • Patent number: 5088669
Abstract: A furniture foot connection includes an item of furniture having a lower portion with a given thickness and a hole in the lower portion having a given diameter and a furniture foot including a body and a hollow stem. The stem has a length greater than the thickness of the lower portion of the item of furniture and a diameter slightly larger than the diameter of the hole. The stem extends through the hole so that the body of the foot is adjacent the lower portion and a length of the stem extends above the lower portion. The lower portion of the furniture compresses the hollow stem within the hole, and the length of the hollow stem extending above the lower portion is uncompressed to open to a diameter greater than the diameter of the hole. This secures the foot in place on the lower portion. The stem has a plurality of ribs with differing asymmetrical profiles which inhibit rotation of the foot in the hole in either direction.
