  • Publication number: 20100116466
Abstract: The present invention offers an axial heat exchanger for exchanging heat between a gas medium and a fluid or liquid medium. The axial heat exchanger comprises a longitudinal and substantially axially extended outer channel that is adapted to enclose a flow of a first gas medium. The heat exchanger also comprises a plurality of substantially parallel inner channels that are adapted to enclose a flow of a second liquid medium. The inner channels are arranged inside the outer channel so as to extend substantially axially along the inside of said outer channel for enabling a transfer of heat between said first gas medium and said second liquid medium. At least one of the inner channels is joined with at least one elongated sheet. The sheet is arranged to extend substantially axially along the inner channel so as to substantially coincide with the direction of flow of the first gas medium through the outer channel.

  • Patent number: 7438122
Abstract: The present invention offers an improved axial heat exchanger for exchanging heat between a gas medium and a fluid or liquid medium. The heat transfer is improved to some extent as the number of inner channels increases and it is further improved in that at least one of the inner channels is joined with at least one elongated sheet.

  • Patent number: 4972052
Abstract: A contact device for delivering electrical signals corresponding to the movement of a movable body having two opposing layers including a base layer and a flexible layer spaced from the base layer. An electrical input conductor attached to one of the two layers and is electrically connected to a power source. The device also includes an electrical output conductor attached to one of the layers for transmitting an electrical signal when the output conductor is electrically connected to the input conductor. A plurality of contact elements are attached to one of the layers for electrically connecting the input conductor to the first output conductor. A pressure device attached to the movable body moves along a path defined by at least one of the conductors, abuts the flexible layer and displaces the flexible layer toward the base layer.

  • Patent number: 4958138
Abstract: Resistive position indicator has an enlongated resistive element with an electrical terminal at each end and a tap which can be brought into contact with the resistive element. A contact point divides the resistive element into two portions and is movable along the resistive element, so that the resistance ratio between the two portions of the resistive element can be varied within wide limits. The resistive element consists of a layer of resistive material applied on a substrate of electrically insulating material. The tap comprises an elongated contact portion of electrically conducting material applied on a substrate and positioned in front of, parallel to, and slightly spaced from the resistive element, so that an air gap is formed between the resistive element and the contact portion of the tap.
