  • Publication number: 20240008997
Abstract: Disclosed is an implant for the intervertebral disc space, for the treatment of scoliosis, kyphosis, stenosis and fractures of the spinal column, which comprises a substantially cylindrical, inflatable, flexible, biocompatible element that has a morphology dependent on the problem to be treated and is suitable for insertion into the intervertebral disc space. The implant can be inflated using an external pressure system in order to allow the injured disc to be lifted, and it can be filled with a material (2) which, once solidified, has an elastic hardness similar to that of a healthy intervertebral disc at the vertebral level in which the implant is to be inserted, said elastic hardness being higher in the area of the lumbar vertebrae and lower in the dorsal or cervical area.

  • Patent number: 10548640
Abstract: A fixation system for spinal instrumentation comprising a cap (1), which houses the head of a screw (2), the end of said screw (2) projecting through a lower opening of said cap (1). A coupling element (3) having two tabs (33) on both side ends rests on the upper part of the head of said screw (2). Said coupling element (3) houses therein an adjusting ring (4) secured to a series of tabs (7), by which means the movement of the head of said screw (2) can be limited.

  • Patent number: 9622785
Abstract: A three-dimensional correction of the curvatures of the spine, for reducing spinal deformities, such as scoliosis, uses a pair of pedicle screws placed on each of the spinal vertebrae of the spine to be corrected, in combination with alignment elongated members or extenders temporally fixed by a proximate portion and associated with corrective rods engaged with the extenders, running along a transverse plane. Each of the corrective rods provides implant rods.

  • Publication number: 20150313647
Abstract: The present invention provides a simplified spine curvatures correction system for reducing spinal deformities, using a bone anchoring element, such as pedicle screw, placed on each of the spinal vertebrae of the spine to be corrected, in combination with alignment elongated members or extenders pivotally connected in a single plane direction to said anchoring element and associated with corrective rods engaged with said extenders, running along a transverse plan, said corrective rods providing implant rods.
