Patent number: 9582004Abstract: Provided are a method and an apparatus for prediction of time available for autonomous driving, in a vehicle having autonomous driving capabilities and including at least one remote sensor configured to acquire vehicle surrounding information and at least one vehicle dynamics sensor configured to determine vehicle dynamics parameters. The method and apparatus include at least one of a positioning arrangement that provides map data with associated information, a route planning arrangement that enables route planning, and a real time information acquiring arrangement that acquires at least one of real time traffic information and real time weather information. The time available is calculated based on a planned route and at least one of vehicle surrounding information, vehicle dynamics parameters, map data with associated information, real time traffic information and real time weather information, for the planned route. The calculated time is output to a human machine interface in a vehicle.Type: GrantFiled: February 27, 2015Date of Patent: February 28, 2017Assignee: Volvo Car CorporationInventors: Marcus Nils Gunnar Rothoff, Erik Coelingh, Anders Tylman-Mikiewicz, Douglas Hall Frasher, Per Rodjer, Jesper Andreasson, Jonas Soderqvist

Patent number: 7200199Abstract: An X-ray diagnostic device is for mammography examinations and includes an arm for an X-ray tube and an object table having an image receptor. The X-ray tube is able to emit a radiation field towards the image receptor. Further, an X-ray grid is included, that is introducable into the radiation field, as well as an attachment unit that can be attached to the object table. In order to obtain an X-ray diagnostic unit having an arrangement that eliminates the risk of exposing the patient to be examined to an unnecessarily high dose of X-ray radiation, the object table is provided with a sensing arrangement that is connected to a transport device for the X-ray grid. Upon applying the attachment unit to the object table, the attachment unit actuates the sensing arrangement in such a way that the transport device transports the X-ray grid out of the radiation field.Type: GrantFiled: August 18, 2004Date of Patent: April 3, 2007Assignee: Siemens AktiengesellschaftInventors: Jesper Andreasson, Stefan Karlsson

Patent number: 7003073Abstract: An X-ray diagnostics device for mammography examinations has an arm for an X-ray tube and a subject table as well as a compression plate arranged between the X-ray tube and the subject table, the compression plate being connected to the arm and being displaceable along it to compress a female breast. The arm is rotatable around a horizontal shaft, and the shaft is secured to a mount that is laterally displaceable. The mount is displaceably attached to a lifting arrangement connected to the stand that is height-adjustable. A control device accepts output signals from position sensors that indicate the height and lateral positions of the arm as well as from a synchro system that indicates the rotational angle of the arm, to control displacement arrangements the arm such that a rotation of the arm around an axis that can be arbitrarily selected along the longitudinal axis of the stand that is substantially aligned with the center axis of the compressed breast.Type: GrantFiled: April 4, 2003Date of Patent: February 21, 2006Assignee: Siemens AktiengesellschaftInventors: Jesper Andreasson, Stefan Karlsson, Josefin Teksöz-Wibrink

Publication number: 20050084062Abstract: A magnification table for mammography examinations has a table plate adapted to receive a subject thereon and a base. The table plate is substantially continuously vertically displaceable relative to the base, so that a magnification factor for radiograms of a female breast is continuously adjustable. An X-ray diagnostic device for mammography examinations has an arm supporting an X-ray tube, the arm having a longitudinal axis and a magnification table as described above, and an X-ray receiver. The table plate of the magnification table is displaceable in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the arm so that a magnification factor for radiograms of a female breast is continuously adjustable.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 19, 2004Publication date: April 21, 2005Inventors: Jesper Andreasson, Stefan Karlsson

Patent number: 6816569Abstract: An X-ray diagnostics installation for mammography examinations has an arm for an X-ray tube, a holder for an image receiver and a subject table. The holder and the subject table are laterally adjustable relative to one another. A compression plate arranged between the X-ray tube and the subject table is connected to and displaceable along the arm. The arm is rotatable around a horizontal shaft attached to a stand. In order to maintain the image receiver located in the X-ray field simply and inexpensively given rotation of the subject table or of the image receiver from a vertical attitude into a lateral attitude, the holder for the image receiver is connected to the arm, and the subject table is laterally displaceable relative to the holder.Type: GrantFiled: October 10, 2002Date of Patent: November 9, 2004Assignee: Siemens AktiengesellschaftInventors: Jesper Andreasson, Ann-Sofi Hoff, Stefan Karlsson

Publication number: 20030198315Abstract: An X-ray diagnostics device for mammography examinations has an arm for an X-ray tube and a subject table as well as a compression plate arranged between the X-ray tube and the subject table, the compression plate being connected to the arm and being displaceable along it. The arm can be rotated around a horizontal shaft and is height-adjustable along a longitudinal axis of a stand. The arm is rotatable with a first displacement arrangement around the horizontal shaft, and the shaft is secured to a mount that is laterally displaceable with a second displacement arrangement. As a result the arm is laterally displaceable. The mount is displaceably attached to a lifting arrangement connected to the stand, the lifting arrangement is height-adjustable with a third displacement arrangement.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 4, 2003Publication date: October 23, 2003Applicant: Siemens Elema ABInventors: Jesper Andreasson, Stefan Karlsson, Josefin Teksoz-Wibrink
