  • Patent number: 9464818
Abstract: A method and a system for controlling ventilation of an indoor area of a building, comprising the steps of: ventilating the indoor area by means of mechanical ventilation and natural ventilation according to a ventilation mode selected among a plurality of ventilation modes, a set of adjustable control parameters (31; 32; 33; 34; 35) and at least one measurement value from a sensor, wherein each ventilation mode is associated with the set of adjustable control parameters (31; 32; 33; 34; 35), each having an adjustable value selected among a group of mode dependent adjustable values, and/or a set of fixed control parameters (34) each having a mode dependent fixed value, and controlling the mechanical ventilation and the natural ventilation by comparing the measurement value from the sensor with a corresponding value of the control parameters of the ventilation mode such that a desired indoor climate defined by the ventilation mode is obtained.

  • Patent number: 6699120
Abstract: Internal climate comfort in a living room occupied by human users is controlled by natural ventilation, through at least two external adjustable openings and at least one internal opening, said natural ventilation being determined from a constant physical parameter of said living room and measured parameters relating to wind load and temperature difference to approximate a target air exchange rate for the room. An adjustment parameter (S1, S2) for each external opening is determined to provide air exchange (Qf) to the room on the basis of said target air exchange rate and is modified by application of a set of individual comfort functions (&mgr;) for each opening, taking account at least of outside and inside temperature, air exchange and wind speed and direction. The individual comfort functions (&mgr;) of said set are weighed by fuzzy optimization to produce optimized and substantially equally distributed comfort conditions in positions in the living room adjacent each opening.

  • Patent number: 5300867
Abstract: In an electric drive arrangement for a cord winding and dewinding winch (22), in particular for cord-operated screening and opening/closing devices for windows and doors, in which the operating cord (4) is connected with said device for moving it in one direction when winding up the cord on said winch (22), the latter being turned in one direction by means of an electric motor (12), while movement in the other direction is effected by a spring force acting on the device while dewinding the cord from the winch (22), the latter being turned by the electric motor (12) in the opposite direction, the winding and dewinding winch (22) for the cord is combined into a drive unit with the electric motor (12) and connected thereto by a transmission device, which is influenced by a braking force, means being provided for stopping the electric motor in response to suspension of the tension in the cord (4) caused by the movement in said other direction effected by the spring force, when dewinding the cord, said stopping me
