Abstract: The present invention describes a dynamic warning system suitable to indicate a dangerous area next to a vehicle (1), in particular an area of a road surface in the blind angle (10) of a driver. By illuminating the surface the soft targets (4) will be aware and alerted that attention has to be paid. In practice the illuminated area shall have a sufficient extent such that when the vehicle turns, any object, and in particular any soft target outside the illuminated zone (20) shall be (relatively) safe from coming into contact with the moving vehicle.
