  • Patent number: 7897177
Abstract: A particulate fiber composition containing at least one first dietary fiber, coated by an insoluble dietary fiber or a dietary fiber with low solubility, serving to prevent dissolution of the fiber composition in the oral cavity and during passage through the esophagus. The fiber composition has one or several inserted additional layers of at least one second dietary fiber between the at least one first dietary fiber and the coating of the insoluble dietary fiber/dietary fiber of low solubility. The different properties of solubility and fermentability of the fibers are utilized for the production of multilayer particles. The dietary fiber composition can be used as a supplement applied in pharmaceuticals and food products where high fiber content and small calorie content is given a high priority. Furthermore, the dietary fiber supplement can be applied for replacement of part of the sugar in sugar coatings of generally known cereals.

  • Publication number: 20040184876
Abstract: The coupling serving for detachably coupling first and second devices. The coupling includes a first coupling part on the first device and a second coupling part on the second device. The first coupling part is designed with a circumferential coupling groove defined by a radial interior wall and exterior wall respectively and ending in a free end face facing in the opposite direction of the first device. The second coupling part includes first and second discs each designed with an aperture. First and second coupling collars respectively are provided around the apertures of the first and second discs and extend mainly in cross direction of the respective discs. The second coupling collar extends through the aperture in the first disc in the same direction as the coupling collar of this disc whereas the two coupling collars of the second coupling part extend into and engage the circumferential coupling groove of the first coupling part in the coupled state of the devices.

  • Patent number: 6709422
Abstract: An ostomy bag with a wall of a flexible material and a first coupling member for detachably coupling the ostomy bag with an implant, for example an implant surrounding the stoma, with the first coupling member being and designed with a circumferential groove. The first coupling member is a spring ring composed of a spring wire having end parts extending a distance past each other. Along the opening of the ostomy bag, an edge reinforcement is made by joining of at least a part of the spring ring and an area of the wall of the ostomy bag, and on each end part of the spring wire is a handle for opening the spring ring on overcoming the spring power in the spring ring so that the edge reinforcement can pass over the circumferential groove of the implant at mounting and decoupling of the ostomy bag.

  • Patent number: 5094738
Abstract: A method of producing an anode unit, whose active material consists of an alloy of an alkaline metal and a host metal therefore. An elongated element of the host metal is enclosed in a separator in form of a hollow fiber and is put in electrochemical contact with an organic solution of the alkaline metal, which migrates through the hollow fibre wall for alloying the host metal element. In a preferred embodiment strips are punched out at distances from each other in a sheet of the host metal and films of hollow fiber materials, laid on the two surfaces of the sheet, are welded together in the openings left after the punching for forming hollow fibers.
