Abstract: Methods, systems, workstations, and computer programs with user interactive patch gallery user interfaces that allow a user to alter at least one feature dimension of the patches and/or WSI image using the patch gallery. The patches are different small regions of interest of excerpts of the WSI and are not required to be neighboring excerpts but can be random samples spanning an extent of the feature dimension.

Abstract: Methods, systems, workstations, viewers, grossing stations and computer include a display and a viewer circuit configured to cause the display to concurrently display: (i) a macroscopic view of a grossing specimen with virtual cut location marks associated with orientation and location of actual physical cut locations used to obtain tissue samples from the grossing specimen and (ii) at least one digital microscopic whole-slide image (WSI) of a tissue section from the specimen.
