  • Publication number: 20090207869
Abstract: The present invention can selectively control surface plasmon-mediated two-photon-induced luminescence in a dendritic silver nanoparticle system over distances of up to 100 m. This control is achievable by changing the polarization of the incident beam and by controlling the phase across the spectrum of a femtosecond laser pulse used for excitation. Furthermore, the present invention uses the phase and polarization dependence to address photonically locations within substantially 100 m from the focal spot.
