  • Patent number: 10207758
Abstract: A kickstand assembly includes a post and a seat. A bicycle includes a frame and the kickstand assembly coupled to the frame. The post is disposed along a longitudinal axis and includes a first distal end and a second distal end. The seat is disposed at the first distal end of the post. The seat is movable between a use position and a non-use position. The kickstand assembly includes a kickstand disposed at the second distal end of the post, and extends outwardly away from the post transverse to the longitudinal axis. The kickstand is movable between a use position and a non-use position. The seat and the kickstand are fixed relative to each other at the respective first and second distal ends of the post such that movement of the seat to the non-use position directly causes movement of the kickstand to the use position.

  • Patent number: 10023264
Abstract: An electric cycle with a frame that may include a tube and an opening. The tube may extend from a first end to a second end and may define a tube interior volume in fluid communication with the opening. An electric power unit may be mounted to the frame proximal the second end of the tube and may have a cooling air inlet and an exhaust port. A cooling path may be defined through the tube interior volume and at least a portion of the electric power unit. The cooling path may be in fluid communication with the opening so that air may flow into the opening, through the tube, into the cooling air inlet and out of the exhaust port of the electric power unit.

  • Patent number: 9969453
Abstract: A number of variations may include a product comprising: a bicycle with an integrated folding system comprising at least a main hinge feature in a frame comprising: a first frame component and a second frame component, wherein the first frame component and the second frame component are pivotally attached to each other; a cable which extends through the frame, wherein a first end of the cable is attached to a steerer tube and a second end is attached to a spring-loaded latch pin; and wherein in an unfolded position the spring-loaded latch pin extends between the first frame component and the second frame component which holds the frame together in the unfolded position, and wherein the spring-loaded latch pin is constructed and arranged so that when the main hinge feature is activated, the cable is lifted upward which pulls the spring-loaded latch pin out of the second frame component so that the frame folds together to a folded position.
