Abstract: An apparatus for increasing plant root density and measuring plant growth having an inverted T-shaped retaining wall forming a substantially elliptic area into which nutrient rich material may be placed and covered in order to keep the nutrient rich material moist and encourage the growth of a fibrous root mass. Mounted onto the apparatus is one or more feeding pockets which allow watering and fertilizing of the nutrient rich material without removal of the cover and one or more growth indicators which allow for measurement of the progress of plant growth.
