  • Publication number: 20240095127
Abstract: The Fleetwide Adaptive Rate Limiting Gatekeeper Apparatuses, Processes and Systems (“FARLG”) transforms API call permission request, API call result request datastructure/inputs via FARLG components into API call permission response, API call result response outputs. An API call permission request datastructure associated with an API call of an application structured to identify an API and a set of scopes is obtained. A retry-after interval is determined for each scope in the set of scopes, in which existence of a retry-after interval for a scope indicates that the API previously returned a throttled response for the scope. A wait duration associated with the API call is determined as the maximum retry-after interval across retry-after intervals that exist for the set of scopes. An API call permission response datastructure structured to specify the wait duration is provided.

  • Publication number: 20160121072
Abstract: An obstructive sleep apnea treatment device is disclosed herein. In embodiments the device eliminates the need for large peripheral equipment such as an air pump and hoses commonly associated with current treatment devices. In embodiments, the device is comprised of a main mask body component, at least one expiratory or exhalation pressure valve, at least one inspiratory or inhalation valve. In other embodiments, the device is further comprised of a forehead cushion component, a facial seal component, and an attachment component. In embodiments, the main mask body component is a nasal covering mask configured with a positive end expiratory adjustable pressure valve to generate a resistance on a patient's exhalation thus pressuring the nasal airways without the need of an air pump or electrical power source. Positive pressurization of the airways reduces the occurrence of apneas.

  • Patent number: 9254500
Abstract: A feed aerosol comprising detectable particles is injected into a mix-enhancing swirler. Diluting gas is also injected into the mix-enhancing swirler and mixed with the feed aerosol in a swirling motion to form an aerosol with a particle concentration no greater than 1,000 particles per liter. The aerosol is then injected into a mixing chamber, where the aerosol is mixed and dried; the inner diameter of the mixing chamber is at least twice as great as that of the swirl chamber. The aerosol is then emitted through a flow straightener that removes swirl from the flow of the aerosol and passed through a delivery conduit, where the particles are detected and counted; and the particle count is compared with a target count. The respective flows of feed aerosol and diluting gas can then be increased or decreased based on a comparison of the particle count with the target count.

  • Patent number: 9099807
Abstract: A releasable locking connector assembly includes a coupling nut rotatably coupled to a connector body; splines on the connector body or the coupling nut; and a lock ring having mating splines that is translatable with respect to the connector body and the coupling nut between engaged and disengaged positions. The mating splines engage the splines when the lock ring is in the engaged position to prevent rotation of the coupling nut, and the mating splines are spaced from the splines when the lock ring is in the disengaged position to permit rotation of the coupling nut. A moveable index ring is movable between a locked position, in which the lock ring is in the engaged position, and an unlocked position, in which the lock ring is in the disengaged position. A push ring sequentially moves the moveable index ring between the locked and unlocked positions.
