  • Publication number: 20240027151
Abstract: A breechblock assembly for a firearm includes a breechblock extending along a central axis and configured to reciprocate along a receiver of the firearm between a recoil position and a battery position. A lever on the breechblock is movable from a blocking position to a non-blocking position in response to the breechblock moving from the recoil position to the battery position. A spring biases the lever to the blocking position. When the lever is in the blocking position the lever prevents the firearm from firing.

  • Patent number: 11852426
Abstract: A firearm including a barrel bushing is disclosed. The barrel bushing provides for guidance of the slide without a need for forward rails. The barrel bushing is retained by a bushing stop that allows the slide to be removed while the recoil spring and bushing are retained on the barrel.

  • Patent number: 11808540
Abstract: A breechblock assembly includes a breechblock configured to reciprocate along a top of the firearm receiver between a recoil position and a battery position. An actuator is coupled to the breechblock and is configured to move between first and second positions. A lever on the breechblock in contact with the actuator is movable between a blocking position and a non-blocking position. For example, the lever is generally oriented along the central axis and extends rearward beyond a proximal face of the breechblock. When the actuator is in the first position, the lever is in the blocking position. When the actuator is in the second position the lever is in the non-blocking position. When assembled in a firearm, an end of the lever is positioned to block the hammer from striking the firing pin when the breechblock is out of battery by more than a predefined distance.

  • Patent number: 11656047
Abstract: Disclosed is chamber flag for a firearm. In one example the chamber flag has a body portion extending along a central axis and a chamber portion extending axially from the body portion, where the chamber portion is sized and configured to be received in a chamber of the firearm. A flag portion extends from the flag body in a direction transverse to the central axis. An arm is connected to the body portion and extends circumferentially around a left side of the body portion in a radially spaced relationship with the body portion, where at least the arm is made of a flexible and resilient material.
