Abstract: An external fixation system for treatment of bones includes first and second clamps for locking pins that are inserted into bones. At least one clamp includes a socket having a recess. An attachment post includes a distal portion configured to be inserted into the socket recess. A tightening nut is rotationally coupled to a shaft of the attachment post and has an internal threading adapted to be threaded to the external threading of the socket. When the tightening nut is rotated to cause the distal portion of the post to be further inserted into the recess, the sides of the distal portion of the post create an interference fit with the sides of the socket recess to lock the post to the first clamp.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method that includes converting a gas stream that contains hydrogen (H2) and carbon monoxide (CO) to a second mixture that contains a hydrocarbon, for example, a hydrocarbon having between 3 and 15 carbon atoms, where the converting is performed using a first catalyst configured to convert H2 and CO to methanol, a second catalyst configured to convert methanol to dimethyl ether (DME), and a third catalyst configured to convert DME to the hydrocarbon.

The pivot component may be configured for engagement with a cover member. The base may have a pipe engagement surface for engagement with a pipe that is located completely below the pivot component.
