  • Publication number: 20240123369
Abstract: An apparatus and system for producing fresh water from moisture-laden air. The apparatus has a frame supporting a plurality of condensation panels that each have a panel body defining a pair of condensation surfaces that will contact the moisture-laden air. A panel support mechanism supports each of the condensation panels in spaced apart relation to each other so each condensation surface contacts moisture-laden air. A flow channel inside the panel body defines a flow path for a cooling fluid that cools the condensation surfaces so the moisture-laden air will produce condensate thereon that collects as fresh water. The system includes a plurality of apparatuses, a chilling mechanism to cool the cooled fluid, inlet and discharge lines connecting the chilling mechanism and apparatuses, pumps to pressurize the cooled fluid, fans to move the moisture-laden air and water collecting surfaces to collect the fresh water.

  • Patent number: 11690440
Abstract: A tool attachment device and method of use designed to create a tool connection enclosure with an integral captive attachment point for securing tools without an integral captive attachment point. Tools without an integral captive attachment point such as hammers, spud wrenches, open-ended wrenches, and tapered handle tools commonly referred to as “waisted” or “necked” tool (tapered mid-section) present a challenge in securing tools for attachment of a connecting device such as carabiners, tool attachment or tool tethers.

  • Publication number: 20220183738
Abstract: A catheter system (100) for treating one or more treatment sites (106) within or adjacent to the heart valve (108) includes an energy source (124), a plurality of energy guides (122A), and a balloon assembly (104). The energy source (124) generates energy. The plurality of energy guides (122A) are configured to receive energy from the energy source (124). The balloon assembly (104) includes a plurality of balloons (104A) that are each positionable substantially adjacent to one or more treatment site(s) (106). Each of the plurality of balloons (104A) has a balloon wall (130) that defines a balloon interior (146). Each of the plurality of balloons (104A) is configured to retain a balloon fluid (132) within the balloon interior (146).

  • Patent number: 10596353
Abstract: A passive MRI-compatible guidewire includes an elongate, flexible tubular shaft, an elongate core wire of non-ferromagnetic material, and an elongate spring coil of non-ferromagnetic material axially surrounding the elongate core wire to form a distal end portion. The core wire includes opposite first and second end portions separated by an intermediate portion. The intermediate portion has a round cross-section, and the first and second end portions each have a non-round cross-section. The first end portion of the core wire resides within an inner lumen of the tubular shaft and is secured therewithin. The spring coil includes opposite first and second ends, and the spring coil second end is secured to the core wire second end portion via polymeric material that forms a rounded distal tip of the guidewire. The guidewire includes a plurality of spaced-apart, passive MRI-visible markers.
