  • Publication number: 20230157575
Abstract: Systems for evaluating the respiratory function of an individual using forced oscillation technique (FOT) oscillometry include a blower controlled so as to apply FOT pressure oscillations on top of a low amplitude offset pressure. A controller continually adjusts the rotational speed of the blower to maintain a targeted time-varying pressure profile in the breathing air provided to the patient.

  • Patent number: 10709021
Abstract: A flexible hybrid electronics (FHE) device includes a common flexible substrate with a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface. A printed circuit is coupled to the first surface of the common flexible substrate. A battery is coupled to the second surface of the common flexible substrate. At least one via connects the battery to the printed circuit through the common flexible substrate.

  • Publication number: 20190331546
Abstract: A leak detection system for flat commercial roof structures is disclosed in order to detect and subsequently repair a leak as soon as possible such that any damage to the roof, as well as to other structural and/or insulation components of the overall roof structure, can be minimized due to the absorption or migration of the water. The leak detection system may comprise elongated water detection sensor strips to be fixedly secured to at least two edge portions of insulation board assemblies, or alternatively, electrical circuits may be provided over the entire expanse of the major upper surface portion of each insulation board assembly, or alternatively still further, rolls of water detection sensor strips may be applied to different regions of the flat commercial roof structure.
    Type: Application

  • Publication number: 20170331571
Abstract: A system and/or method include top and bottom substrates, and a flexible printed circuit assembly. The circuit assembly can be positioned between the top and bottom substrates. The circuit assembly can include a flexible printed circuit board, a microcontroller associated with the printed circuit board, the microcontroller having a media message programmed therein, a power-limited source of electrical energy associated with the printed circuit board, a playback device associated with the printed circuit board, the playback device being configured to play the media message, and an initiation device associated with the printed circuit board, the initiation device being configured to cause the playback device to play the media message. The printed circuit board can also include a plurality of conductive traces printed on the printed circuit board which electrically interconnect the microcontroller, the power-limited source of electrical energy, the playback device, and the initiation device.
