  • Publication number: 20240024822
Abstract: Dual phase membranes include a porous support providing a solid phase having a matrix of connected pores, and a liquefiable ion transport phase within the pores of the porous support. The ion transport phase is formed of at least one alkali metal hydroxide, and at least one oxide ion transport agent providing a source of ions selected from the group consisting of borate ions, nitrate ions, phosphate ions, vanadate ions, niobate ions or sulfate ions. The at least one alkali metal hydroxide may be selected from the group consisting of NaOH, KOH, LiOH, RbOH, CsOH and mixtures thereof. The oxide ion transport agent is preferably present in the ion transport phase in an amount between about 1 to about 30 molar %. Substantially lower operational temperatures may be realized when the membrane is used to separate CO2 from a feed gas.

  • Publication number: 20160019195
Abstract: Methods and systems that allow users to post comments on hosted web pages and web sites. The users post their comments, inputted over a network, on an overlying electronic document, also known as a web document, at positions in the electronic document corresponding to a user-selected location of the underlying web page.

  • Publication number: 20150199323
Abstract: Methods and systems that allow users to post comments to web pages and web sites, independent of the web pages and web sites themselves. The posting of comments can be on almost every web page and web site on the World Wide Web (WWW), regardless of the entity hosting controlling or administering the web page or web site, and regardless of the web page or web site having its own comment area.

  • Publication number: 20130305391
Abstract: An example apparatus includes a non-certified computing platform, a certified computing platform and a user interface. The non-certified computing platform includes first hardware and configured to host non-certified software. The certified computing platform is separate and distinct from the non-certified computing platform, and it includes second hardware and configured to host certified software in a partitioned environment. The user interface is coupled to both platforms and includes a display coupled to both the first hardware and second hardware via a controllable switch. According to this example, the non-certified computing platform and certified computing platform are configured to host the non-certified software and certified software such that both are capable of operating concurrently.

  • Publication number: 20060109251
Abstract: This invention integrates a keyboard and movement detecting means into one device. Accordingly, the present invention provides for a combined keyboard and movement detection system for inputting electronic data. The system comprises a unitary keyboard provided with a plurality of data keys for entering data. The keyboard is sized to allow for data input using two hands placed side by side. At least one means for detecting movement of said keyboard relative to a surface is further provided attached to a side of the keyboard. In another embodiment the combined keyboard and movement detection system comprises a keyboard as above and a plurality of spaced-apart means for detecting the movement of said keyboard attached to said keyboard.
