  • Publication number: 20060195687
Abstract: A computer-based system and method of mapping an encrypted network request packet to its decrypted copy in a secure computer network web server. Method creates a plug-in module on a secure web server and saves at least one network address and port number from a captured encrypted network request packet. Plug-in module obtains a decrypted copy of the network request packet from the secure web server decryption module and returns it with the network address and port number.

  • Patent number: 6799357
Abstract: The manufacture of seamless tubes in which the process includes providing an assembly having a metal tube blank, and an elongate metal core of shape memory effect material which is surrounded and contacted by the tube blank with a minimal gap. The assembly is elongated by mechanical working thereof at an elevated temperature until the tube blank has been converted into a tube of desired dimensions. After the elongation step, the core is subjected to a treatment which results in the core being in a stretched condition throughout its length, and does not substantially stretch the tube. The core is removed from the tube, and subsequently subjected to drawing passes over a nondeformable mandrel thereby refining the precision of diametric and wall dimensions with improved ID and OD surface quality. There is also decoring and reinserting to improve final dimensions which results in the ability to fabricate smaller, longer tubes.

  • Publication number: 20030120181
Abstract: The present invention provides a medical guide wire and a method of making same in which, an elongated solid core wire is made of NiTi alloy with a Ni content of about between 55.0 and 56.5 wt % and a reverse martensitic transformation start temperature (As) in the fully annealed state of not more than 55° C. The wire has been thermomechanically processed to exhibit a work-hardened pseudoelasticity. After the last full annealing to regain workability, the wire is cold drawn with a significant amount of cold reduction of greater than 35%, but preferably greater than 38% The entire guide wire is subjected to the same heat treatment. The wire is formed into an elongated solid core. The heating step includes passing the wire through a tube furnace at substantially 280° C. to 370° C. The entire guide wire is subjected to the same heat treating step. The guide wire has centerless grinding performed at an appropriate stage to provide a taper section and a distal section.
