  • Patent number: 10977799
Abstract: A system and method for automatically changing the operation of a mobile device in response to a presence of information is described. In some examples, the system determines an information capture device is proximate to text, automatically changes operation of the capture device to a certain mode, captures the text, and performs an action associated with the captured text.

  • Patent number: 10977259
Abstract: A file receiver receives an electronic structure file that includes structure-file data associated with a spatial arrangement and detects a content object for processing that includes content-object data. A file transformation engine transforms the structure-file data from the structure file into an electronic record. A rendering engine renders an image of the transformed structure-file data arranged in the spatial arrangement. An interface engine detects an input corresponding to specification of a position of a data segment. A parsing engine defines a segment-position specification indicative of the position. A template engine generates an electronic template that associates an identifier of the data segment with the segment-position specification and associates the electronic template with a template identifier. A record classifier determines that the content object corresponds to the template identifier.

  • Patent number: 10179308
Abstract: A system for calculating maintenance predictions and making improvements to performance deficiencies to one or more components in an on-board inert gas generating system (OBIGGS) is described. The OBIGGS components include an ozone converter, heat exchanger, inlet filter, and Air Separation Module (ASM). The system comprises a prognostic health monitoring (PHM) sensor network comprising at least one respective sensor coupled to each of the components of the OBIGGS. Each at least one respective sensor is configured to output a respective data signal corresponding to a performance condition of a respective component. A control unit is operatively coupled to each component and signally coupled to each respective sensor of the PHM sensor network. The control unit includes at least one test condition algorithm configured to analyze the respective data signal to calculate the maintenance prediction for the respective component.

  • Patent number: 9075779
Abstract: A hardware, firmware, and/or software facility (“facility”) for providing information relevant to rendered documents is described. In some embodiments, the facility identifies multiple versions of an electronic document corresponding to a rendered document captured by a capture device. The facility may then provide a person utilizing the capture device with various ways to interact with one or more versions of the electronic document. In some embodiments, the facility determines that use of a rendered document is restricted, such as by copyright, to some degree. The facility may then offer the person the option to obtain unrestricted use of the rendered document. If the person accepts, the person obtains the right to store captures of the rendered document. If the person declines, the facility automatically discards captures of the rendered document. In some embodiments, the facility may automatically purchase rights to restricted-use rendered documents based upon the person's predefined criteria.

  • Patent number: 8990235
Abstract: A system and method for automatically providing content associated with captured information is described. In some examples, the system receives input by a user, and automatically provides content or links to content associated with the input. In some examples, the system receives input via text entry or by capturing text from a rendered document, such as a printed document, an object, an audio stream, and so on.
