  • Publication number: 20260091964
Abstract: A platform for a lift device includes a base, a plurality of rails, and a deck. The plurality of rails at least partially surrounding the base. The deck is selectively coupled to the plurality of rails. The deck is moveable between a storage position and a use position. The deck includes a front side opposite a back side, a first lateral side, and a second lateral side opposite the first lateral side. The lateral sides extend between the front side and the back side. The deck includes a locking mechanism configured to secure the deck in at least one of the storage position or the use position. In the storage position, the deck is substantially perpendicular with the base and in the use position, the deck is substantially parallel with the base.

  • Publication number: 20250346473
Abstract: One aspect relates to a lift device. The lift device may include a frame assembly, a platform to support an operator, a lift assembly coupling the platform to the frame assembly and to raise or lower the platform. The platform may include a deck coupled to the lift assembly, an extendable deck movable relative to the deck in a longitudinal direction, and a sensor to detect an obstacle below the platform. The lift device may include a controller operatively coupled to the sensor. The controller may limit operation of the lift device to lower the platform in response to the sensor detecting the obstacle within a stop zone, the stop zone extending a predetermined distance beneath the platform, and permit operation of the lift device to lower the platform towards the obstacle in response to the sensor detecting the obstacle beneath the stop zone.

  • Publication number: 20240151822
Abstract: A lift device includes a base, a lift assembly coupled with the base, a platform coupled with the lift assembly, and an obstacle detection system that includes a first lidar sensor, a second lidar sensor, a third lidar sensor, and a fourth lidar sensor. The first lidar sensor is positioned at a first corner of a base of the platform. The second lidar sensor is positioned at a second corner of the base of the platform. The third lidar sensor is positioned at a third corner of the base of the platform. The fourth lidar sensor is positioned at a fourth corner of the base of the platform. The lidar sensors are oriented in a downwards direction to detect objects or obstacles that are at a vertical position below the base of the platform.

  • Patent number: 10029898
Abstract: A pothole protection assembly is cooperable with a support base of a scissor lift. The support base includes front wheels, rear wheels and a chassis. The pothole protection assembly includes a pair of front pothole bars fixed to the chassis and each positioned adjacent the front wheels, respectively, and a pair of rear pothole bars fixed to the chassis and each positioned adjacent the rear wheels, respectively. A space between the front wheels and the rear wheels defines a ground clearance zone, where the front pothole bars and the rear pothole bars are disposed at opposing ends of the ground clearance zone. The assembly is constructed and arranged to maximize a breakover angle in a scissor lift with fixed pothole protection.

  • Patent number: 9670041
Abstract: A cylinder prop assembly is cooperable with a lift cylinder for a scissor lift and includes a cylinder prop displaceable between a disengaged position, in which the cylinder rod is movable relative to the cylinder housing, and an engaged position in which the cylinder rod is locked from displacement relative to the cylinder housing. An actuation lever is coupled with the cylinder prop and is accessible to displace the cylinder prop between the disengaged position and the engaged position.
