    Abstract: An anchor for an implantable medical device, for example, and implantable physiologic sensor, includes a proximal hub portion, an intermediate portion extending radially and distally from the hub portion, and a distal portion extending distally from the proximal portion and adapted to engage an inner surface of a target vessel for securing the implantable medical device therein. The anchor can assume a collapsed configuration for delivery through a catheter, and an expanded configuration for fixation within the vessel once deployed. The intermediate portion extends from the proximal portion at an oblique angle, allowing the anchor to be retracted and re-collapsed within the delivery catheter after initial deployment, if re-positioning or removal of the implantable medical device is necessary or desired.

    Abstract: A delivery system for deploying an implantable sensor assembly at an implantation site in a patient, the sensor assembly including a sensor element and an anchor. The delivery system includes an outer catheter, an elongate, tubular first inner member movable within the outer catheter, and a retaining element disposed within the first inner member and adapted to releasably engage the sensor assembly during delivery. In one embodiment, the first inner member has a distal end portion including a sheath sized to receive the sensor assembly and retain the anchor in a collapsed delivery configuration. In another embodiment, the first inner member includes a distal end portion including a socket sized to releasably retain a portion of the sensor during delivery.

The stent includes rings aligned along a common longitudinal axis and connected by links, where the stent has one or more portals for aligning with and partially expanding into the opening to the side branch vessel. The stent is implanted at a bifurcation so that the main stent section is in the main vessel, and the portal section covers at least a portion of the opening to the side branch vessel. A second stent can be implanted in the side branch vessel and abut the expanded central section to provide full coverage of the bifurcated area in the main vessel and the side branch vessel. Radiopaque markers on the stent and on the tip of the delivery catheter assist in aligning the portal section with the opening to the side branch vessel.
