  • Publication number: 20240127461
Abstract: The present invention refers to a method for obtaining the velocity field when restarting the flow of complex materials in a transient regime, comprising: defining the number of pairs of images to be obtained; defining the time parameters between pulses and frequency; obtaining and recording a plurality of pairs of images; processing the recorded pairs of images; checking the tracer particle displacement criterion; extracting the first frame of each image from each pair of images; uniting the first frames extracted from each image of each pair of images according to the displacement criterion of the tracer particles, creating new pairs of image frames; calculating the time correction factor between frames of the frames of each of the new pairs of image frames; applying correlation overlap to calculate flow velocity vectors; correlating the images of the new pairs of image frames, using adaptive correlation; obtaining the flow velocity vector map; calculating and applying the correction factor to obtain anothe

  • Publication number: 20230002295
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for the production of molecules with seven carbons constituted by a chain of four carbons with three methyl branches, primarily triptane (2,2,3-trimethylbutane), by alcohol coupling reaction (Guerbet reaction), resulting in an alcohol with a four-carbon chain with three methyl branches, which is transformed into triptane. The importance of this method stems from the fact that triptane is the hydrocarbon with the greatest capacity to resist compression without ignition and can be used in unleaded aviation gasolines and in the formulation of high-octane automotive gasolines.

  • Publication number: 20210371366
Abstract: The present invention refers to a process for producing a renewable isoparaffin compound with a high octane rating, comprising a step of Guerbet reaction between an initial C5 alcohol charge obtained from renewable raw material and methanol to produce a branched renewable C6 alcohol; dewatering of the branched renewable C6 alcohol into a C6 olefin; and hydrogenation of the C6 olefin into renewable isoparaffin. A renewable isoparaffin compound with a high octane rating, comprising at least 50% carbon of renewable natural origin in its composition, and use of said renewable paraffin in gasolines in general and in special high-performance gasolines, such as aviation gasoline, are also described.

  • Patent number: 10908970
Abstract: A method for data processing is described. The method may include configuring a connection template that defines a data extraction flow for a first data source and transmitting from an analytics application server a controller application programming interface (API) call based on a query request for data stored at the first data source. The method may further include instantiating a connector microservice based on the controller API call and the connection template, where the connector microservice is configured with a first data connector with the analytics application server and a second data connector with the first data source that is specific to the first data source. The method may further include retrieving at the analytics application server the data from the first data source based on the connector microservice.

  • Publication number: 20200270531
Abstract: The invention relates to a process that comprises dehydration of by-products from ethanol production from sugar cane, by fluidized bed catalytic cracking, for obtaining a renewable hydrocarbon stream, preferably consisting primarily of olefins with 5 carbon atoms, for use in gasolines, and to the and to the hydrocarbon stream and gasoline formulations thus obtained.

  • Patent number: 7897034
Abstract: An aviation gasoline (Avgas) formulation free from tetraethyl lead (TEL) for piston driven aircraft is described, the formulation comprising, in volume percent, between 0 and 65.2 base alkylate, between 0 and 50 super-alkylate, between 0 and 25 toluene, between 2 and 10 of a toluidine isomer blend, between 0 and 5 ethyl alcohol, between 0 and 25 C5 cut and between 0 and 10 triptane. The formulations are prepared by admixing the components, with the order of mixing being from the denser to the less dense, except in the case of the toluidine isomer blend, which in spite of being the denser product is the latest to be added to the other streams in order to by-pass homogenization problems.
