  • Publication number: 20150231260
Abstract: The invention relates to the process for producing a novel multi-purpose agglomerated cellulosic excipient. This excipient replaces many ingredients in the production of tablets due to the fact that it functions as a diluent, a disintegrating agent and an agglutinant, all in the same material. This material is therefore ideal for producing tablets in a dry process such as direct compression and dry granulation, saving production times and costs, especially in humidity- and heat-sensitive drugs. The tablets produced using said excipient disintegrate rapidly by explosion when they come into contact with water. In addition, said excipient can be used to produce loose and compact make-up powders due to its self-agglutinating and sensory properties on the skin, and also functions as a dispersant agent that can be used in the production of semisolid products.

  • Publication number: 20140137090
Abstract: Methods of development and compilation of cross-platform software are provided. Through the use of platform-specific libraries, software can be written using only platform-independent instructions and then compiled for one or more different platform targets. In the compilation process, a compiler can obtain a target platform. Then, the compiler can select a platform-specific library associated with that target platform. A platform-independent instruction can then be obtained by parsing source code, for example. The compiler can then link the platform-independent instruction with a platform-specific instruction of the selected platform-specific library. This can allow cross-platform software to be written using only platform-independent instructions, and platform-specific instructions can be linked automatically when compiling the software for a specific target platform.

  • Patent number: 8541898
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and system for controlling a wind power installation connected to an electrical power grid, in case of a fault in said grid. In the electrical machines that form part of the wind power installation, generators and transformers, it is possible to change the impedance of the neutral closure introducing a plurality of active and passive elements. This limits the currents during the grid fault, thereby reducing the peak torque in the mechanical train of the wind turbines and allows guaranteeing compliance with the network connection requirements, as control of the active and reactive currents is maintained at all times.
