  • Publication number: 20250088523
Abstract: A method for detecting an anomaly is provided. The method receives and organizes data as a function of a plurality of time periods and a number of updates for each time period of the plurality of time periods. The organized data approximates first and second unimodalities. The first and second unimodalities have respective first and second peaks. The method identifies a dip across the plurality of time periods and determines a density of the dip. The density is compared with a predetermined threshold in order to determine if the dip is an alternative modality. A unimodality analysis is then performed on the first and second unimodalities in response to the dip being an alternative modality. The method also determines whether the second unimodality is an anomaly based on the unimodality analysis and discards the updates associated with the second unimodality when the second unimodality is an anomaly.

  • Patent number: 12043859
Abstract: Methods of recovering cannabinoids from cell cultures include methods comprising steps of separating the cell culture at a temperature above the melting point of the cannabinoid to separate a light phase comprising liquid state cannabinoid from a heavy phase; and methods comprising treating the cell culture at a temperature below the melting point of the cannabinoid to separate a light phase from a heavy phase comprising solid state cannabinoid. Other methods include contacting the culture with a water-miscible solvent to form a water-miscible phase and an aqueous phase, separating the two phases and recovering the cannabinoid. Other methods include contacting the culture with a water-immiscible solvent to form a water-immiscible phase and an aqueous phase, separating the two phases, and recovering the cannabinoid. Other methods include washing the inner surface of a fermentation vessel with alkaline solution to recover cannabinoid attached to the vessel surface.

  • Publication number: 20240239742
Abstract: The present invention provides synthetic methods and preparation of cholecalciferol (vitamin D3) from cholesterol, which is a by-product of the Omega-3 oil production process. According to the invention, dehydro-cholesterol is prepared and subjected to UV radiation (254 nm). Accordingly, two new synthetic alternatives are provided; wherein the first consists of processes of oxidation-reduction of cholesterol to form dehydro-cholesterol and subsequent UV radiation; which route involves six steps (see scheme 1). The second transformation involves the generation of vitamin D3 by means of a bromination method and a photocatalytic reaction using UV radiation; which alternative requires four steps (see scheme 2).

  • Publication number: 20240228397
Abstract: Various implementations of the present disclosure are directed systems and methods of preparing a fertilizer product from cactus. The method includes grinding cladodes of one or more cactus plants into ground cactus and selecting prickly pear fruits from the one or more cactus plants. The method further includes combining the ground cactus, the selected prickly pear fruits, water, and a ruminal fluid in a first container to form a mixture. The method further includes storing the mixture in the first container for a first time period such that the mixture reacts to form a digestate. The method further includes storing the digestate in the first container or a second container for a second time period such that the digestate forms the fertilizer product.

  • Publication number: 20230385192
Abstract: A memory module comprises dynamic random access memory (DRAM), Flash memory, and a module controller. The module controller is configured to receive data to be transferred from the DRAM to the Flash memory, compute first cyclic redundancy check (CRC) codes for the data, and write the data into the Flash memory. The module controller is further configured to read the data from the Flash memory, compute second CRC codes for the data read from the Flash memory, and transfer the data to the DRAM. The module controller is further configured to compare the second CRC codes with the first CRC codes to determine one or more erroneous data bits in the data read from the Flash memory, read a data segment of the data from the DRAM that include the one or more erroneous data bits, correct the one or more erroneous data bits in the data segment, and write the data segment back into the DRAM.

  • Patent number: 11663121
Abstract: A memory module comprises a volatile memory subsystem including DRAM, a non-volatile memory subsystem including Flash memory, and a module control device. The Flash memory includes main Flash providing a main Flash memory space and scratch Flash providing a scratch Flash memory space. The module control device is configured to receive a request from the memory controller to move one or more segments of data in a first Flash block in the main Flash to the DRAM and to, for each respective segment of data: select a respective set of pages in the DRAM; transfer respective data stored in the respective set of pages from the DRAM to a corresponding segment in the scratch Flash; and transfer the respective segment of data to the respective set of pages in the DRAM. Thus, data can be moved segment by segment between the DRAM and the Flash memory.
