Abstract: This disclosure relates to an organic gel formulation composition for blocking fluids in naturally fractured carbonate reservoirs, for salinity conditions up to 31,870.50 ppm of total dissolved solids and temperatures up to 120° C., that is, for the purpose temporarily isolating areas of the reservoirs, that will be treated with chemical and radioactive products to quantify the oil remaining in them, the stability of the gel is controlled in a certain period of time, through the synergic effect of the supramolecular interaction between the components of the gel formulation. A disclosed composition may include 0.3 to 1% by weight of a copolymer of acrylamide butyl tertiary of sulfonic acid and acrylamide, and 0.12 to 0.4% by weight of phenol and from 0.18 to 0.6% by weight of hexamethylenetetramine.

Abstract: The present invention considers bringing a mobile unit closer to the site of interest and conduct the quantification of the tracers by performing the detection methods in situ and in real time at the wellhead, and that can be moved to the site on numerous occasions for the preparation of results during the test where the quantification of tracers is necessary, helping to speed up and reduce times that, until now, have not been achieved with stationary laboratories and that depending on the laboratory can last up to three months providing results.

Abstract: The present invention relates an Integral analysis method of inter-well tracer tests, which integrates and performs continuous feedback to each of the major stage (design, operation and interpretation) allowing quantitative interpretation of these tests. It is presented as a tool to investigate the behavior of injection fluids for recovery of hydrocarbons, as well as for the dynamic characterization of reservoirs. The main advantage of this invention is that it allows a greater certainty in the tracer response and a marked improvement in the sensitivity and quantitative analysis of the test results, since the curves fit both with mathematical models and numerical models. Another outstanding attraction of this invention is the reduction in the costs of testing such applications.

Abstract: The online measurement system of radioactive tracers in oil wells head, object of this invention, is characterized by the use of new technology to measure concentrations of tracer activity in real time, using a radiation detector NaI (TI), with features that make it possible to detect up to three different tracers and be able to operate in temperature conditions up to 150° C., which allows to be immersed in a container with fluid coming from the flow stream, achieving with this to increase the sensitivity of the measurements. This system of measurement in the head of production wells will allow having much more data of the tracer activity, avoiding having to transport the operational staff to production wells to carry out sampling test, with all the advantages that this represents.
