Abstract: Provided herein is a network-based home electronic appliance usage predicting apparatus including an information collecting unit configured to receive electricity usage information of at least one home electronic appliance through a network; an information database configured to store the electricity usage information received by the information collecting unit; and a pattern analyzing unit configured to analyze a usage pattern of a corresponding home electronic appliance based on the electricity usage information stored in the information database, generate information on predicted electricity usage of the home electronic appliance based on a result of the analysis, and store the information on predicted electricity usage of the home electronic appliance in the information database.

Abstract: Provided is a fault tracing system and method for remote maintenance. The fault tracing method includes detecting faults by receiving error events or fault diagnosis request messages, generating transactions for the detected faults, tracing the faults according to the transactions, and notifying a client terminal or user of the fault diagnosis results. Accordingly, it is possible to accurately trace a fault even in a home/building network environment complicatedly consisting of various resources.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for building a relation model based on a resource management architecture. The apparatus includes: an object information generator configured to acquire information on resources existing in a network and to separate the acquired information into objects according to predetermined types of resources to generate objects and information on the objects; a data manager configured to acquire necessary data existing in the network to process and store the data; and a relation model manager configured to receive the information on the objects and the necessary data, to analyze the received information on the objects and the necessary data to generate information associated with relations between the resources, and to build a relation model based on the generated information associated with the relations.

Abstract: Provided are a home/building fault analysis system and method using a resource connection map log which compares and analyzes a previous integrated resource state and a current resource state using resource connection map logging information based on a standard resource management model when a fault is generated, provides state information of the resource in which information having high association with a fault resource is mainly changed, and performs an effective fault analysis and process by restoring to the previous resource state, as necessary. According to the prevent invention, when the fault is generated, a synthetic state of resources within a home/building as well as a state of an individual resource may be known from the resource connection map.

Abstract: A failure diagnosis method includes: generating a resource relationship map of resources to be managed on a network; and when a failure occurs in a certain service object within the network, extracting a topology relationship map from the resource relationship map by using the failed service object as a root node. The failure diagnosis method further includes searching a resource object caused the failure while checking related objects, starting from the root node in the topology relationship map.

Abstract: An advertisement content posting system and method are disclosed. The advertisement content posting system may include a resource collecting unit to collect resources included in a particular domain and configured to post an advertisement content, a service providing unit to provide an advertiser with resource object information of the collected resources and resource relationship information between resources in a web service form, and a post unit to post the advertisement content through resources selected by the advertiser when a post request with respect to the advertisement content is received from the advertiser.
