  • Patent number: 10205654
Abstract: A method and system for providing a bio-inspired routing protocol using overhearing and probabilistic path finding in a mobile ad hoc network is provided, which can provide correct routing information for a destination, prevent a stagnation problem that repeatedly finds the same path because path finding depends mainly on regular pheromone values, also prevent the unnecessary creation of proactive ant packets and the increase of overhead which are caused by the stagnation problem, and decrease the probability with which an alternative path to be used in the event of link failure cannot be secured in advance.
