  • Patent number: 9690308
Abstract: In a preferred embodiment, a voltage converter comprises a voltage converter circuit, an output adjuster and a controller. The controller provides a control signal at a duty ratio determined dynamically by a set of input signals. The dynamic output adjuster determines the set of input signals by adjusting the ac component of an output voltage based on a gain Q. The dynamic output adjuster alleviates dependence on the value of Rc under leading edge modulation in either analog or digital converter systems. In addition to delivering the desired left half plane zero effects, dynamic output adjustment reduces the value of the output ripple. As a result, modern control methods such as input-output linearization can be used to design both boost and buck-boost PWM converters if only left half plane zero effects are present.

  • Publication number: 20020088256
Abstract: A combination push button and/or key operated padlock is disclosed as having a housing, a shackle detachably connected to the housing for opening and closing the padlock, a push button slide plate for operative detachable movement of the shackle relative to the housing, and a plurality of push buttons mounted to the housing for the push button slide plate. At least one of the push buttons is a releasing push button that detach from the push button slide plate when depressed. The remainder of the push buttons are blocking push buttons that engage the push button slide plate when depressed. A shackle detachment is connected to the push button slide plate for moving it in detachable position when the releasing push buttons only are depressed. Each of the push buttons having independently mounted spring loaded end caps on each free end to assist in camouflaging the releasing and blocking push button from each other.

  • Patent number: 4952228
Abstract: A push-button padlock having a swivel-only shackle, the free end of which is receivingly engaged by a sleeve that is reciprocable into the padlock body housing upon actuation of a thumb latch member projecting through the housing, preferably through a hole in the front face. The shackle is an inverted J-shaped shackle with the longer end entrained in the padlock body where it engages a latching mechanism which includes the thumb latch and shackle sleeve members. The thumb latch is preferably of breakaway construction and the sleeve may be rotatable. A locking mechanism of any desired type to selectively lock and unlock the latching mechanism may be employed. One preferred locking mechanism is of push-button type, and another preferred locking mechanism is a key lock mechanism, both of which are operative to selectively lock and unlock the latching mechanism that may be employed.

  • Patent number: 4866958
Abstract: A sequence dependent push-button lock mechanism having compression loaded locking rod assemblies, arcuate segments of which are placed in compression if attempts are made to force the lock open, and unlocking by rotating the arcuate segments out of compression engagement with a sliding block associated with a thumb-actuated reciprocating shackle sleeve, particularly adapted for use in padlocks and deadbolt/cabinet locks. The locks are applicable to use in combination with pivot-only shackles in the padlock form, and thumb-actuated shackle or deadbolt release mechanisms. The thumb latch is of a break-away type to deter plurality of holes in a spaced array for receiving spring biased automatic return push-button assemblies which actuate locking rods that are disposed to rotate upon selective engagement with various combinations of special "T" and "C" shaped flanges on button actuator members.

  • Patent number: 4829795
Abstract: In accordance with the present invention, an anchor assembly is described for use in association with double- and single-keeper padlocks that substantially strengthens such padlocks to withstand prying leverage moments applied at the crown of the shackle. Such padlocks have an upper registry surface through which a shackle disconnectably connects to define locking and unlocking positions.
