Abstract: A portable electronic device includes a display unit, a touch sensing module and a processing unit. The display unit displays a user interface. The user interface includes a plurality of display objects. The display objects respectively include a first display surface and a second display surface. The first display surface generally faces toward the user. The touch sensing module senses a drag event corresponding to a touch object. The processing unit generates the user interface, and changes the distribution of the display objects by switching the first display surface to the second display surface by a rotated effect according to a drag direction of the drag event.

Abstract: A method for image controlling is disclosed. The method is applied in a portable electronic device, wherein the portable electronic device comprises a touch display module. The method comprises: defining a signal input area on the touch display module; detecting input signal on the signal input area; and displaying a first control interface on the touch display module, wherein the displayed ratio of the first control interface varies according to changes in a sliding distance of a track formed by the input signal.

Abstract: A method for dividing pages and an electronic display device are provided. The method for dividing pages includes the following steps. An edit page is started on the display screen, and a length of an editable area is increased in the edit page when the edit page is pulled down. The edit page receives a paging operation to generate at least one page break in at least one position of the edit page. When the at least one page break is generated, the edit page is divided into at least two separate pages according to the at least one page break, and the separate pages are respectively saved as different files. The method for dividing pages is more convenient and user-friendly for the user operating a data editing operation of the electronic display device.

Abstract: Presented herein are enhanced techniques for searching content using an electronic device. In accordance with the enhanced searching techniques, the electronic device detects a user's selection of information displayed at the electronic device. The electronic device subsequently detects that the user has dragged the selected information to a search field displayed at the electronic device and automatically identifies the information type. The electronic device conducts a search of a search space based on the selected information dragged into the search field, wherein the search is specific for the information type.
