Abstract: A dishwasher is provided. The dishwasher has a wash motor for pumping wash liquid, upper and lower spray arm for spraying the wash liquid pumped by the wash motor, and a control unit. The control unit operates the wash motor to perform a lower wash cycle by the lower spray arm and an upper wash cycle by the upper spray arm. The control unit operates the wash motor at a preset first rpm and operates the wash motor at a second rpm for a predetermined duration during the upper wash cycle.

Abstract: A dishwasher includes a drying fan formed on a side of the door to suck wet-vapor existing in a tub, a fan driving motor for rotating the drying fan, a sump formed on a bottom of the tube to reserve washing water, a drain motor for draining the washing water out of the sump, and a control unit for controlling the fan driving motor as well as the drain motor. The control unit controls the operation of the drain motor while the fan driving motor operates.

Abstract: A dishwasher is provided. The dishwasher includes a sump, a wash motor, a disposer, a screen filter, and a drain motor. The sump stores wash liquid. The wash motor pumps the wash liquid stored in the sump. The disposer is installed inside the sump and connected to the wash motor by a motor shaft. The screen filter is installed inside the sump to prevent impurities ground by a rotation of the disposer from entering a wash pump. The drain motor discharges the wash liquid stored in the sump to an outside. The wash motor operates for a predetermined duration during a draining process performed by an operation of the drain motor.

Abstract: There is provided a self-drainage preventing structure of a dishwasher. The self-drainage preventing structure includes a tub having a steam discharge hole formed at a side portion thereof, a sump assembly mounted on a bottom of the tub and having a drain pump disposed at a side thereof, and a bypass tube connected to the drain pump to allow a part of washing water introduced into the drain pump to be returned to the tub.

Abstract: A dishwasher and a gasket for the dishwasher are provided. The dishwasher and the gasket include a gasket body forming a hole through which a guide pin and a guide sleeve insert, and a packing member that seals a gap between the gasket body and the guide sleeve in order to prevent leakage between a water guide and a spray arm holder.
