  • Patent number: 11968064
Abstract: Introduced here is at least one technique to better estimate interference at a receiver. The technique includes receiving a plurality of reference signals, which each have information indicative of noise. Thus, the technique further includes, for each reference signal, determining a noise estimation and determining a distance metric and log-likelihood ratio (LLR) of the noise estimation. Once the distance metric and LLR of each reference signal is determined, the receiver can determine a final LLR based on the distance metric and LLR of each reference signal. In this manner, a final LLR is determined. This technique can be applied by any device operating on MIMO technology.

  • Patent number: 11966636
Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for committing log data in an application to a log data repository. An example method generally includes receiving, from an application, data to be committed to a remote storage location. A type of the received data is determined. The type of the received data is generally associated with a prioritization level and a compression mechanism to be used in committing the data to the remote storage location. An application execution context associated with the received data is determined. At a dispatch time associated with the prioritization level of the received data and the application execution context associated with the received data, a compressed data payload is generated and transmitted to the remote storage location. Generally, to compress the data payload, at least the received data is generally compressed based on the determined compression mechanism.

  • Publication number: 20240101873
Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a high-temperature fast-curing starch-based adhesive for particleboards and a preparation method thereof, belonging to the technical field of adhesive preparation. The low viscosity of the starch-based adhesive is ensured by selecting a crosslinking monomer which does not self-crosslink in a reaction process in the present disclosure, and a binary crosslinking agent matched with the crosslinking monomer is added before use to be quickly crosslinked with the crosslinking monomer at high temperature so as to ensure better thermosetting property and water resistance as well as faster curing speed of the starch-based adhesive at the same time, which meets the requirements of the particleboards for the adhesive, solves the problem of long curing time of the existing starch-based adhesives at high temperatures, further shortens the curing time of the starch-based adhesives to about 60 s, and improves the production efficiency of the particleboards.

  • Patent number: 11860160
Abstract: Provided are vertical flow detection devices and related methods. The devices may comprise a membrane having a first surface and a second surface with a plurality of porous structures extending between the first and second surfaces to form fluid conduits from a first fluid chamber formed by the first surface and a second fluid chamber formed by the second fluid surface. A capture agent is immobilized on and/or in the membrane. A rigid porous membrane support mechanically supports the membrane and to provide a relatively uniform flow across the membrane. Various gaskets or holder elements are positioned around an outer edge of the membrane to prevent fluid leakage around the membrane. A fluid pump is configured to force a fluid sample flow in a direction from the first fluid chamber to the second fluid chamber.

  • Publication number: 20230134055
Abstract: Introduced here are techniques for reducing the latency at a terminal device. In particular, for reducing the latency of detecting the downlink control information (DCI) in a downlink signal such as the physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) signal. The techniques include determining a probability of each aggregation level of the control channel elements (CCE) in a signal carrying the DCI. The probability can be based on the packet error rate (PER) of the signal. The PER can vary based on factors such as the signal to noise ratio (SNR) and/or the fading measurements. Further, the probability can depend on the reception history of the terminal device. Based on these factors, the terminal device can decode the CCEs in an order indicative of the probability of the corresponding aggregation levels carrying the DCI.

  • Publication number: 20230126861
Abstract: A method performed by a receiver of a wireless communications system to reduce the latency of channel estimation. The method includes receiving a data signal and a sequence of reference signals communicated over a wireless communication channel. In response to determining that the data signal is time critical or that a threshold reliability of the channel estimation is not required, the receiver estimates a channel condition of the wireless communication channel based on a portion of the sequence of reference signals. The receiver performs demodulation and decoding of the data signal prior to processing the entirety of the sequence of reference signals. The demodulation and decoding are adapted based on the estimated channel condition of the wireless communication channel.
